Matt Brailsford
Founder
Matt Brailsford grew up in Paradise Valley before moving to Bozeman in 1989 to attend MSU. After graduation and some years exploring, he moved to China, where he remained for the next 15 years, 10 of those years as a real estate professional.
During his tenure at Savills Property China, Matt served on the board of directors (3,000 employees), directed the China investment team (transacting some of the most iconic buildings on the Shanghai skyline), consulted the Beijing government on a 250 million.
square foot urban renewal project and systematically helped build a high end property management company.
The arrival of two boys elicited a return to Montana and the Mountains. Since then, Matt has been involved in various ventures, including starting his own property company (Black Moose Property, later folded into Matterhorn Property), a van conversion company (Beartooth Vanworks), a storage company (Bozeman Portable Storage), and a wilderness mindfulness company (Wild Mind Odyssey). Despite his entrepreneurial endeavors Matt is still better known in Bozeman as “Linda's Husband”-master chef at The Hummingbird's Kitchen.

Jordan Zignego, AIA, PhD
Founder
Jordan Zignego is an educator, architect, and developer. Having been in Bozeman for 18 years, he has blended his passion, education, and vocation with community design work. Taking a multidisciplinary approach to all things, the shared feature between all endeavors has been a deliberate focus on meaningful projects that have a positive social impact.
As a developer, Jordan is most proud of two multifamily projects in which he designed, co-built, and operated. Both projects were explorations in adaptive reuse and re-employing salvaged material in a thoughtful way. This was also when Jordan began managing properties, which he has continually maintained for the previous 8 years.
Similar to the situation of Matterhorn’s other co-founder, Matt Brailsford, around Bozeman, and the state writ large, Jordan is better known as “Heather’s Husband.”

Josiah Cagle
General Manager
As a young professional in Bozeman, I have spent nearly six years deeply woven into this community and this valley as a whole.
Bozeman is not just where I work – it's my home, my office, and my playground. With close to a decade of experience managing projects and engaging directly with clients, I bring expertise here at Matterhorn.
It is a genuine pleasure to work closely with both our clients and our tenants to ensure they feel not only appreciated, but truly part of the fabric that makes living in this valley such a delight.
